Gameplay: Your task at ASYNC Corp. is to create and send Packets. A Packet is a 2 x 2 (or larger) block of the same color. To make a Packet, a player selects a single Unit from each grid. If a 2 x 2 Packet can be created, the Units will swap and a Packet will be formed. Just tap the Packet to send it off to one of ASYNC Corp’s many Packet Handling Facilities.

Innovative Puzzle Design: Like Glow Artisan before it, ASYNC Corp is a unique and innovative puzzler, unlike anything before it.

Powerhead has developed more than twenty five games sold all over the world, in at least 13 languages.

With a good portion of our sales coming from overseas, PHG knows the value of timely localization and international appeal.

With the goal of creating completely new IP, to be developed, funded, project-managed and brought to market on digital formats in early 2013, Digital Capital and Schreiber have jointly formed a new company, ‘Digital Power Entertainment’, based in Dublin, Ireland.

“We are so excited by the creative vision of Jason’s new idea,” said Stewart Kosoy, Head of Product Development at Digital Capital.  “His idea manages to combine an easy to grasp concept with some very neat, new thoughts on features and innovative ideas for engaging players.  Other than that my lips are sealed.”

“ It’s awesome to be partnered with Digital Capital in this new company to create our own IP,” said Jason Schreiber, who is also the CEO of Powerhead Games. “In the last few years, there’s been a major realignment in the way games are made, marketed, and distributed. And I think Digital Capital has the right approach to working directly with developers, funding great ideas and simplifying this whole process.”

Powerhead Games, under Jason’s direction, just celebrated its twelfth anniversary with its iOS action-puzzler ‘ASYNC Corp.’ being nominated for ‘Best Mobile Game’ at the upcoming PocketGamer.co.uk and Independent Games Festival awards during GDC 2012 in San Francisco.

When asked about the future of Powerhead Games, Schreiber responded, “I have already made the decision that Powerhead will be awarded a contract to fulfill a large part of the development work for Digital Power Entertainment and will work closely with us on the development and launch of the title.”
